About GPHC
The Great Plains Honors Council serves collegiate honors programs in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. Coordinating its activities with the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), the Great Plains organization promotes the flow of information, ideas, fellowship and professional encouragement throughout its member programs. Our spring regional conference always emphasizes student presentations and the region-as-text. The windmill that is part of the Great Plains Honors Council logo is a distinctive feature of our six-state region. It represents cooperation with the environment ... the bringing to light of hidden resources ... ingenuity ... perseverance ...the willingness to catch inspiration from every direction. Annual dues: Click here for dues information and invoice. Active membership (with paid-up institutional dues) is required for your students to compete for the Boe Award.
