The spring conference is a great place for students to learn the craft of presenting. The video below is offered as a model. Mona Easterling of Tulsa Community College gave this talk on "Awareness of Emotions and Their Expression" at the 2009 conference held at the University of Nebraska. Boe and Poster Awards

 The Dennis Boe Award

The Great Plains Honors Council sponsors the Dennis Boe Award to showcase and reward outstanding scholarly writing by the honors program/college students of its member institutions. The entry deadline is set each year by the conference hosts. Entries must be submitted directly by the Honors director of the nominating institution, and each institution is limited to two submissions. The Boe Award is a cash prize and an engraved plaque for each of the winning students.  For submission instructions, visit the conference website.
